Join Disability Rights NJ’s Executive Director and Managing Attorney of our Community Inclusion Team for a discussion of Medicaid eligibility as we anticipate the end of the COVID public health emergency.

Managing Attorney, Michael Brower will set the stage with an overview of the public health emergency Medicaid “moratorium” and the guidance from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services about Medicaid redeterminations once the PHE ends.

Executive Director, Gwen Orlowski will talk about many of the different Medicaid program eligibility groups in New Jersey, with a basic overview of financial and clinical eligibility requirements for different programs.

The webinar will also cover the process for moving from one Medicaid group to another (for example, WorkAbility to ACA Medicaid) and what to do if you receive a termination notice, either during the PHE or after it has ended.
